Hot Choco!


3 Tsps - Cadburys drinking chocolate
1 cup of milk

1. Heat milk until pipping hot.
2. Put in the 3 tsps and stir
Add marshmallows if you want :]

A lil update!

I still have around 10 recipes to put up but at the moment i don't have so much time to bake :[

Birthday Tiramisu for One

Was Dad's birthday ont he 3rd and he's the only one who likes Tiramisu. So i decided to make a simple small tiramisu in a glass for him :]


½ cup - Lukewarm coffee

2 tbsps - Cognac

1 Egg – divide the yolk and whites

Pinch of Salt

3 tbsps – Sugar

5 tbsps – Mascarpone cheese

Pack of Ladyfingers

Chocolate grated

Cocoa


1. Electric mixer – Egg white + Salt + Half of the Sugar.

2. Whisk and place in another bowl.

3. Electric mixer – Egg yolk + Rest of the Sugar (3mins) + Add in the Mascarpone cheese and mix with spatula.

4. Fold in Egg white bowl into the electric bowl, half and then the rest.

5. Mix with spatula.

6. Bottom of glass, around 2 -3 tbsps of the mixture

7. Make a mixture in a flat bowl of the Coffee and Cognac.

8. Place 2 Ladyfingers in for 5 seconds and then break in half and place over the cream.

9. Grate a good layer of Chocolate.

10. Place the remaining amount of cream on top.

11. Finally, right before you serve! Shake Cocoa powder over.


If you do not have Mascarpone cheese, or you do not want to buy it if your just making one cup of Tiramisu.

Then:

4 tsps - Cream cheese

2 tbsps – Whip cream

2 ½ tbsps – Sour cream

Use a spatula and mix together for around 5mins.

Chippy-Chip Chocolate Cookeeys


Mmmmhh, don't they look delish?!
Well, these cookeeys are so soft and tender inside that they just melt!

The recipe for these fantastic cookeeys are :]

2 ¼ cups – Self raising flour
½ tsp – baking powder
2 tbsps – butter (softened)
¾ cup - White sugar
¾ cup – Brown sugar
Pinch of Salt
¼ tsp – Vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups – Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Chips

190˚ - 8 – 10mins (Golden brown)

1. Small bowl = Flour + Baking powder
2. Electric bowl = Butter + Sugars
3. Electric bowl = Add in the salt + vanilla + eggs
4. Add the flour bowl into the mixture.
5. Add in chocolate chips and mix with hand.
6. Tbsp size balls – 1inch apart

Makes 25 – 30


And viola! :] On the tray.




Around 4 -5 mins after... :] And then 10 mins later =D So simple right?

Walcorrt Cake with Cream Cheese frosting

Walcorrt Cake with Cream Cheese frosting



Filling

1 cup – Walnuts (toasted and chopped)

2 ½ cups – Carrots (grated)

2 cups – All purpose Flour

1 tsp – Baking soda

1 ½ tsp – Baking powder

Pinch of Salt

1 ½ tsp Cinnamon powder

4 Eggs

1 ½ - White sugar

1 cup – Sunflower oil

¼ x2 tsps- Vanilla extract


Cream-cheese frosting

¼ cup – Butter (softened)

16 tbsps – Cream cheese

2 cups – Icing sugar

1/4 tsp – Vanilla extract

½ tsp – Lemon zest

1 cup – Walnuts (toasted and chopped)


180˚ - 30mins – 9inch circular pan


1. Toast walnuts for 8 – 10mins in oven at 180˚ - Let it cool and after chop it up.

2. Peel carrots

3. Medium bowl – Add Flour + Baking soda + Baking Powder + Salt + Cinnamon powder. Whisk together and set aside.

4. Electric mixer bowl – Add eggs 1 by 1, then sugar, mix until whitish (3mins) + Oil + Vanilla.

5. Add flour mixture in steadily.

6. Put in the carrots and walnuts and mix with rubber spatula.


Cream-cheese frosting

1. Electric mixer – Add crease cheese + butter

2. Add icing sugar

3. Vanilla + lemon zest


Place frosting on top after the cake is completely cooled (20-25mins)

On the side of the cake place the walnuts.

Refrigerate.
